REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE MOTHER/DAUGHTER TWEEN EVENT

In 2007, Speaking of Women’s Health first introduced the mother-daughter conference right here in Iowa and is now known nationwide as Speaking of Women’s Health "Growing Together, Connecting for Life" (TM).

Mark your calendars...the mother-daughter program will be held locally Tuesday, May 13 from 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the beautiful Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center on the UNI Campus in Cedar Falls.

Covenant Foundation, in partnership with local and national sponsors, is proud to relaunch the 2nd annual Speaking of Women’s Health event designed exclusively for girls and their mothers (and other women of influence)!

Tickets are $25 per pairing and admits Mom (or caring female adult) and tween. One additional guest can attend for $10 with each pairing. Tickets include: National Keynote Speaker (see home page for her bio), Tween Breakouts including nutrition and fitness, interactive sponsor booths, health screenings, refreshments and beautiful gift bags fo each attendee.

Underlying all topics is an emphasis on real beauty that comes from within and is ageless. Mothers and daughters will be encouraged to make simple pledges together to practice healthy lifestyle habits of eating well, enjoying regular fitness promoting activities and maintaining positive relationships among themselves and others. Lifelong commitments to healthy life patterns within families and friends will be celebrated.

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare recognizes the impact moms and other women (step-moms,grandmas, aunties) makes in young girls’ lives and the need to provide pre-teen girls, ages 8 to 13 with tools to help them make healthy life choices as they transition into young womanhood.
